About
Care designed to support every family’s rhythm
Balanced Babysitting was created to bring clarity, confidence, and trusted care to families.
Our Story
Balanced Babysitting was founded in 2023 with one clear goal: to make reliable, compassionate childcare easier to access for all families who want care they can truly trust —especially families of children with special needs.
We know that finding the right caregiver can feel overwhelming. Every child has their own personality, routines, and needs, and every parent deserves to feel confident leaving their child in capable hands.
That’s why we created Balanced Babysitting.

Hi, I’m Rebecca Ryan
Hi, I’m Rebecca Ryan, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS), and mom of three. I created Balanced Babysitting because I wanted all families of varying needs to have an easier way to find care they can truly trust.
Through both my professional experience and my experience as a parent, I’ve seen firsthand how much a calm, capable caregiver can change a family’s day to day life.
Balanced Babysitting supports all families, with additional experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, sensory needs, developmental differences, and behavioral support needs. Whether you’re looking for an occasional babysitter or a long-term nanny, our goal is to make the process feel clear, thoughtful, and supportive from start to finish.
Thank you for considering Balanced Babysitting. We’re honored to support your family.
Warmly,
Founder & CEO,
Balanced Babysitting
